The vow that I honored; the one that Dottie and I made soon after we met, caused me to consider taking my own life after helping her end hers.
This book will take the reader through nearly 75 years of my life. During many of those years I moved across the globe with ease; never seeking a place to settle. From the time I was a kid until years later, I was convinced that the two people I lived with had bought me from Gypsies. Then, in front of a mirror one day, I was astonished to see my father looking back at me.
My God, I thought, how can these two have created me? I’m nothing like them — I’m not.
