This story takes place in Dover, England. Charles, a poor, hard working chimney sweep worked tirelessly to give his wife and children the bare necessities of life. His wife, Rebecca, stricken with polio, was in need of medicine while his children, Jessica and Robin did all they could to help. Robin, an 11 year old at the time this story takes place, prays very hard, every evening, hoping God will make his mother well. And, because Christmas was coming, he let the Lord know that the only thing he wanted for Christmas would be to see her as she was before; happy and dancing, and full of life. Three days before Christmas, Robin receives a visitor who tells him not to worry. She tells him everything will be alright and that his prayers have been heard. But, the visitor also tells him there is danger ahead and that it's up to him to warn his father. This is a heartwarming, loving and dramatic story for everyone. It is a Christmas story filled with sadness, happiness, and it teaches all of us that with faith, all things are possible.
