This is the story of how one man and his family migrated from Lancaster, Pennsylvania to a small village in Orange County, New York. The Village was called Sugar Loaf and has come to be referred to as "The Village of Craftsman". When he arrived in Sugar Loaf, he was fortunate enough to meet wonderful people who welcomed him and his family. As a result, he was quickly able to find a home and a job. This first book of the Wesley's is filled with happiness, drama, sorrow, and love. It is a heart- warming story that enables the reader to envision how life really was during those early days when America was beginning to grow. There are so many tales that can be told of so many heroic and not so heroic individuals who played a part in America's history. Jonathan Wesley, to me, represents all the unsung heroes who sacrificed and gave so much to his family and country. This is the reason I have decided to write this manuscript. I hope you enjoy reading this opening story, the first in a series of warm, thrilling, and exciting stories about this man.
